Working with Plaisio Computers, the largest computer and technology retailers in Greece, requires not only proven search marketing skills but more importantly hard results. In May 2010 we undertook the PPC marketing account and have not stopped expanding it and improving it. During the first months we focused on restructuring the existing campaigns and filtering out non efficient terms. This enabled us to reduce the average CPC (cost-per-click) by 25% and reallocate that spending on better performing parts of the account. In effect we maintained the level of spending, increased the absolute visits and ensured the traffic had more qualified visits. Having done that, we shifted our focus on expanding the reach on a broader range of products and a broader range of audiences with display advertising (in the Google Display Network) and Google AdWords Remarketing.

With Buldoza.gr, the up-start fashion & home e-tailer, we had to start from scratch. The fashion sector is among the most developing on-line industries in Greece. Therefore, an extensive but highly relevant list of keywords was used to target & grow a solid customer base. Our monitoring & optimization process lead us to continually improve performance & steadily increase the company's conversion rate. Buldoza's AdWords spending reached a positive ROI within the first 3 months, allowing the company to re-allocate additional marketing budget to PPC, which by now is a steadily efficient marketing channel with continuous growth. AKTO College, the leading school of Art & Design in Greece, had an aim to expand its search marketing presence yet in a more profitable manner. We faced some tough challenges as the Quality Score of the account was low causing the average CPC (cost-per-click) to be considerably high. Right from the beginning we focused on adjusting the existing structure, ie. on the establishment of a more relevant targeting that would result in a considerable increase of the campaign's CTR (click-through-rate). After the campaign showed a solid improvement, we worked rigorously on broadening the keywords (through broad match types but at the same time keeping an eye for negative keywords), structuring our account in a way that enabled ongoing expansion, optimization & monitoring. Having, added conversion tracking we added the necessary metric to evaluate ROI and better steer AKTO's PPC spending towards profitability.

Business Partners is the magazine of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce. We where given the task of bringing it to life on the internet. We based it on the widely deployed platform of Wordpress to allow us to keep costs at a minimum, and provide an easy-to-use CMS to the magazine's publishing team. The end result is a delightful site, rich with articles, videos, podcasts and multimedia galleries.

With MobileLink, an innovative new company focusing on mobile messaging and mobile applications sector, we had to be very cautious. The mobile marketing industry is a saturated market with several big players present on the PPC landscape. MobileLink is a direct competitor of mass messaging websites but offers a new approach and ease of use to its customers. We structured the campaigns by first identifying the most relevant keywords and ad-texts but always having in mind the quality of the visitors so as to assure a low Cost Per Sale (or CPA). Our goal was to promote the different approach of MobileLink's unique application, as well as to keep our clicks' quality at the highest level. In that, we brought modest but highly qualified traffic to the site which lead the company to obtained a very high conversion rate. By modest traffic we mean that MobileLink's visitors where deliberately not as many as some of its bigger competitors, yet the sales achieved leave room for a steady growth of the company in a mature market. We will be happy to see this company reach new levels and we are sure they will!
